Chef Kari Rich began her career with a degree and training at Le Cordon Bleu, California. Chef Richs’ fine dining premier was at the landmark Top o the Cove Restaurant in La Jolla. She continued in her career as a professional chef running kitchens for more than 17 years at restaurants such as Star of the Sea, La Auberge, Voyeur, Revolver, and Isabel’s.
Chef Kari Rich prides herself in having clean, orderly, and efficient kitchen spaces while also optimizing no waste. After selling her successful food truck venture, Food Farm, Chef Kari has continued working as a restaurant consultant including restaurant business development and innovation, flow of food and menu development, food safety and cooking class instructor, ghost and copywriter for cookbooks and blogs, as well as research and development for health food companies and magazines. Her most recent consultancy has been revamping a food service program for a Pre-K to 12 yr private school.
